This winery has quite a long history in Nuits St Georges. The estate is owned and operated by the Thomas Family who have been vineyard owners in Nuits since before the French revolution. In 1850, at the request of their clients, the family started a small negociant activity. The start of this business coincided with the first train that stopped in Nuits St Georges that year - the legend says that their first client arrived on that train. This is why the commemorative label was created last year for the 150th anniversary of the winery showed the scene of that first train.

Yves, Henri-Noel, Charles-Olivier and Denis Thomas
The winery has grown through the years and today the estate wines represent some of the best of the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune, while the negociant activity allows them to complete their range with some wonderful finds in villages or fields where they are not vineyard owners.
This wine has an exceptionally deep golden color. The nose has an interesting mix of butterscotch and slightly mineral characteristics. A balanced acidity level gives freshness and elegance to this wine.
Vive Meursault and Vive la Bourgogne!
