| Aligoté is the «other» white wine grape in Burgundy, making up only 3% of vines planted (the other whites being Chardonnay). This selection from Amiot-Servelle comes from 80-year old vines which allows it to escape the agressive characteristic that can often be found in Aligoté wines. The nose is mineral with a hint of quince. The acidity is light making it easy to drink as a cocktail, with a meal starter, or with shellfish/seafood. Don't serve this too cold. Enjoy over the next 6 to 12 months. | ||
